Here are some tips on how to make your hairdresser super happy on the day of your colour appointment:
MINIMISE HAIR PRODUCTS:
Please please please do not show up to your appointment with ROOT spray in your hair as if this happens 9 times out of 10 we won't be able to do your service as the colour we intend to put on will not cut through ROOT spray. Also, another no no is OIL. Your hair should totally free from any OIL as again, our colour cannot penetrate oil.
BRING PICTURES:
Brining a picture of your ideal colour makes us very happy as this way we know exactly what you are wishing us to achieve for you.
KEEP YOUR HAIR TYPE IN MIND:
Be realistic about your own hair type and texture when choosing colours and styles. You've also got to think of the aftercare. What is is going to take to keep this colour or style looking fabulous. Will you have the time to upkeep it.
DON'T FIB ABOUT YOUR HISTORY:
One of the worse things you can do to your hairdresser is to not be truthful about what you've put on your hair with regards to hair dye. If you don't tell us the truth then your could end up with a colour that is not exactly as you wanted. We decide what to apply based on you telling us what you've already put on it in the past. If you tell us everything then we can create exactly what you want.
LEAVE YOUR HOODIE AT HOME:
As you know, when having a colour service, we dress you up with lots of layers to protect your own clothes. If you are wearing a hoodie then it's more difficult for us to tuck our protective wear in to your clothes. It makes it bulky and when it comes to cutting your hair also as your hair doesn't always sit flat at the back because of the hood on your hoodie.
