WEAR A HAT:
This sounds so simple doesn't it but this simple tip will really help. In the Winter the air is much dryer as there is very little moisture around so covering your hair and protecting it from the wind and rain will work wonders. Don't worry about "hat hair". The elements dry your hair out which makes it more prone to breakage in the Winter. Believe it or not, Wool, cotton and other fabrics can cause breakage too as they rub against the shaft of your hair during application so if you can wear a hat with a silk or satin lining. Dry oil sprays are weightless and are a great way to avoid static electricity and many contain natural oils that will moisturise your hair where it needs it most and will also keep it looking shiny. So, don't be afraid to wear a hat, your hair will thank you for it.
