At The Hairdressers we have worked extremely hard throughout the pandemic to ensure that we have kept our staff and clients as safe as possible during their time with us in the salon. We now feel that it’s time to try and return to a bit of normality (if at all possible). We are very much aware that COVID is still with us but we are planning to make a change which we’d like to share with you.
This change will come into force from Monday 31st October 2022.
MASKS:- Along with our staff/stylists continually wearing masks throughout the pandemic we have always requested that all clients also wear a mask during their visits to the salon. From next week MASKS will be completely optional. Our staff/stylists will no longer be wearing them however, if you would like them to wear one during your service then you only need to ask. We fully respect that some clients still feel vulnerable and we have no problem at all in making them feel more comfortable in-salon by wearing one for their service. MASKS will still be available upon entry if you feel you would still like to wear one.
We will still be adhering to our COVID cleaning schedule which means that all main key touch points will be cleaned every 2 hours throughout the day. Disposable gowns are still being used. Individual stylist screens will remain within the salon and sanitiser will also be available on each station for your use and we will continue the use of disposable cups for refreshments.
