Karin Bowen - Senior Stylist

“Originally” from Estonia, Karin started her hairdressing career over 36 years ago. Karin has been a Senior Stylist within the salon for over 25 years and during that time she has built up a very loyal client following. Karin is extremely experienced and is a very knowledgeable member of our team. She has attended many courses during her extensive hairdressing career and is always looking to expand her knowledge whenever possible. Karin is extremely creative and her real passion is for cutting, in particular short hair. She loves nothing more than transforming someone when the opportunity arises. Karin has a very calming and gentle aura which allows all clients to be relaxed in her presence. Outside of work, Karin loves to travel, enjoys shopping and being creative at home as she has a passion for interior design.

Teresa Gouveia-Judd - Senior Stylist

Teresa has been working in the hairdressing industry since the tender age of 12 where she started as a Saturday girl. Teresa has previously worked in South Kensington before finally putting down her roots with us here at The Hairdressers. Teresa is an extremely popular Senior Stylist at the salon and there is nearly always a waiting list to get an appointment with her as over her 21 years at the salon she has gained a fiercely loyal client base. Teresa is loved by everyone; she is extremely hardworking and is very conscientious, she has a fun-loving nature, has an outgoing personality and loves nothing more than the buzz of the salon environment. Chatting with her clients enables her to get at a true understanding of their exact requirements. Teresa enjoys all aspects of hairdressing and her favourite thing to do is Colouring & Cutting. Personally, Teresa loves to relax on holiday, enjoys cooking and spending time with her cat “Jenson”.

Susie Roberts - Senior Stylist

Susie is undoubtedly the bubbliest member of our team. She has been working in a salon since the age of 13 and has now been a qualified Senior Stylist for over 20 years. Susie simply enjoys all aspects of hairdressing and during her time with us she has developed her skills ultimately finding herself as one of the salons busiest colourists. Susie loves to perform colour services and has an endless list of colour clients having worked here for over 6 years. She loves getting to know her clients well and a thorough consultation is a must as she always aims to deliver the perfect result. She loves being part of a busy team and working alongside her colleagues and knows just how to be professional whilst maintaining a relaxed environment with her clients at all times. Susie loves her job but when she is not working, she is a busy mum of 3 children.

Megan Williams - Stylist

Megan is the youngest member of our HAIRDRESSERS family however she already has 8 years of experience behind her. Megan loves Balayage as this gives her the freedom to create that individual look that everyone is seeking. She loves to be creative using various different techniques to achieve the ultimate colour result for each of her clients. Megan says “there are no guidelines, no boundaries, the world is her oyster“ so every service is personalised. Megan is also the queen of the Keratin Blow Dry having transformed many clients with this service. Megan loves to learn and further her hairdressing knowledge so is always the first to try out something new. She has a very caring and gentle nature which comes across in her work. Away from work, Megan escapes in her own little world by painting and creating pieces of canvas artwork. Megan loves a good “Horror” movie whilst being snuggled up with her pets, Garfield the cat and Coco the dog.

Shannon Bennett - Stylist

Shannon is the newest addition to our family. With that she brings with her an additional skill set which perfectly complements our team. Shannon completed her training 8 years ago and since then has developed a huge passion for hair extensions. She says she loves the fact that by using them you can give clients extra confidence as it instantly transforms their hair with extra thickness and length ultimately creating a whole new look. Due to this passion Shannon has recently trained in the art of “hair extensions” and this is a service that we will be introducing shortly. If she had to choose, then Shannon’s favourite service would undoubtedly be “bouncy blow drys”. She has the amazing talent for creating the perfect big volumized bouncy curls and if you are lucky enough to experience one, you’ll know what we mean. Shannon maybe petite but what she lacks in height she makes up for in passion and determination as she is always looking to do anything creative or learn a new skill. Shannon is a busy bee and is always doing something but when time allows, she loves relaxing by spending time with her dog needy dog “Ollie”.
